2 Awards from the Super AI Innovator @KMITL Event

The “Super AI Innovator @KMITL” project organized by King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL), supported by funding from the Super AI Engineer Season 5: Track AI Innovator program under real-world challenges from organizations including Bangkok Airways, Ascend Group, and B.B.C. Beltech Co., Ltd. The objective was to drive AI innovators into the technology market. The event included hands-on workshops to create a new generation of AI innovators, providing opportunities for those without a background to learn and practice with guidance from top Mentors in the AI and Startup fields. This project was held from May 15–31, 2025.

2 Awards from Huawei ICT Competition 2024–2025 Asia-Pacific Regional Finals

On February 27, 2025, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, hosted the award ceremony for the Huawei ICT Competition 2024–2025 Asia-Pacific Regional Finals, organized through cooperation between Huawei and the ASEAN Foundation. The competition involved over 8,000 students from 20 countries and regions across the Asia-Pacific, representing a 25% increase from the previous year. The Huawei ICT competition focuses on developing and assessing technical skills in key fields of the digital age such as Cloud, AI, Network, and Computing, while promoting analytical thinking, teamwork, and designing practical solutions for social and business sectors.

Best Paper Award at ICITEE 2024

A research team from the Faculty of Information Technology, King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang won the Best Paper Award at the ICITEE 2024 (International Conference on Information Technology and Electrical Engineering) organized by The Systems, Man, and Cybernetics (SMC) Society Chapter of the IEEE Indonesia Section, held from October 23 – 25, 2024 in Bali, Indonesia. The conference aims to be a platform for exchanging knowledge in international information technology and electrical engineering. At ICITEE 2024, the research team from the Faculty of Information Technology, King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang won the Best Paper Award. The team included Mr. Naphat Paniangwet, a master's student in Artificial Intelligence for Business Analytics, Faculty of Information Technology, KMITL, together with Associate Professor Dr. Kitsuchat Pasupa (Associate Dean, Faculty of Information Technology, KMITL), the advisor, for their research titled “Comparative Analysis of Online and Offline Learning Algorithms with Data Drift Detectors in Multi-Target Time Series.” This research is a comparative study of the efficiency of online and offline learning algorithms using data drift detectors in multi-target time series datasets. Special Award in Hackathon & Pitching Competition

Congratulations to Team I-Tech, students from the Faculty of Information Technology, King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, who received the Special Award (from Sun Smart Tech company) in the Hackathon & Pitching competition (E-SAN Thailand PMU-B Coding & AI Academy Season 2), held from February 9-11, 2025, at Avani Khon Kaen Hotel and Convention Center, Khon Kaen Province.

Undergraduate students from the Faculty of Information Technology, King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (IT KMITL), achieved success again by winning the 2nd Runner-up and Popular Vote awards at the GLOBAL GAME JAM & ASSET JAM 2025 ANT x DPU JAMSITE competition, held from January 24-26, 2025, at Dhurakij Pundit University, with a total of 150 participants from 24 teams.
