ISIS Group
Information Science and Intelligent Systems Group consists of 5 research laboratories
Computational Intelligence Laboratory
CI Lab is a research laboratory dedicated to developing intelligent systems that have thinking and learning processes similar to humans, capable of learning independently from past experiences and relevant data, and to developing computational intelligence algorithms to support human decision-making or even replace humans in some tasks
Lab Faculty: Prof. Dr. Arit Thammano
Data Mining and Data Exploration Laboratory
DME Lab was established with the purpose of researching, developing, applying, disseminating knowledge, developing technology personnel, and providing social services in the area of data mining and data exploration for analysis and decision-making. Data mining technology can be effectively used to solve problems in both government and private sectors, such as employing data mining as a tool to study customer patterns and behavior to improve products and services to better satisfy customers. To date, several organizations have valued and sought consultation on various data mining applications.
Lab Faculty: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Worapot Kreesuradet
Knowledge Management and Knowledge Engineering Laboratory
KMAKE Lab is a research and study center focused on knowledge engineering and knowledge management technologies including knowledge discovery technology, information retrieval, data collection, information extraction, knowledge representation and organization technologies, data and text mining technologies, machine learning, predictive modeling, model evaluation, knowledge dissemination technologies, and the impact of knowledge management on organizations and society. Research topics include knowledge extraction from web pages, text mining from social media, ontology creation and application, natural language processing, and deep learning model development.
Lab Faculty: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pornrudee Netsipakorn, Asst. Prof. Dr. Supakit Nutyasakul
Data Science & Machine Learning Research Laboratory
DSMLR Lab focuses on developing new machine learning algorithms for applications such as chemoinformatics, bioinformatics, health informatics, gaze detection, and text analysis, collaborating on projects with various industries and universities.
Lab Faculty: Prof. Dr. Kitsuchart Pasupa
Intelligence Lab for Cognitive and Business Analytics
IcBiz Lab is an intelligent laboratory for business analytics and human-like cognition, concentrating on analysis of structured and unstructured data enabling computers to learn and gain deep insights hidden in diverse data forms such as natural language, actions, perception, and human behavior. The lab's research and expertise encompass multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary knowledge, including Artificial Intelligence, Linguistics, and Cognitive Psychology, to explain, reason, and summarize data into knowledge for wise decision-making. This laboratory emphasizes the application of this expertise in various business sectors such as finance, retail, marketing planning, medicine, agriculture, and education.
Lab Faculty: Asst. Prof. Dr. Kanokwan Achariachanvanich, Asst. Prof. Dr. Non Kaneungsukkasem, Dr. Sirisit Lohchana-chit
