AI in Education Scholarship Project
Types and Number of Scholarships (Total not exceeding 3 scholarships)
- Scholarships allocated to those selected to pursue doctoral degree studies under the general category for master's to doctoral or bachelor's to doctoral levels
- Doctor of Philosophy program in Information Technology (International program)
- Regular students (Types 1 and 2)

** In cases where the number of scholarships in any category is not fully awarded, the remaining scholarships may be reallocated to other categories **
Scholarship Amount
Scholarship recipients will be exempted from lump-sum tuition fees and monthly expenses under the following conditions
- Bachelor’s degree recipients in their 4th year of the Weven Innovator project will receive a monthly expense scholarship of no more than 8,000 THB for up to 1 year and may receive a master’s degree scholarship in the following year
- Master’s degree scholarship recipients will receive a monthly expense scholarship of no more than 15,000 THB for up to 2 years
- Doctoral degree scholarship recipients will receive a monthly expense scholarship of no more than 18,000 THB for up to 3 years
Applicant Qualifications for Scholarships
- Master’s degree scholarships require a cumulative GPA of not less than 3.00 at the bachelor’s degree level or must have at least one research publication indexed in SCOPUS or ISI (Web of Science) databases
- Doctoral degree scholarships (for applicants using a master's degree) require a cumulative GPA of not less than 3.50 at the master's degree level and at least one research publication indexed in SCOPUS or ISI (Web of Science) databases
- Doctoral degree scholarships (for applicants using a bachelor's degree) require a cumulative GPA of not less than 3.25 at the bachelor's degree level and at least one research publication indexed in SCOPUS or ISI (Web of Science) databases
- Bachelor’s degree scholarships under the Weven Innovator project require a cumulative GPA of not less than 3.00 (counted until the last semester before applying) or at least one research publication indexed in SCOPUS or ISI (Web of Science) databases

How to apply for scholarships
- Applicants must submit scholarship applications with complete supporting documents to the Educational Service Office, Faculty of Information Technology via email: Witchayada@it.kmitl.ac.th
- Applicants must also apply for admission to the program and study group for which they are applying for the scholarship
- Applicants who have received scholarships or research grants from other agencies that overlap with this scholarship must express their intention to waive or terminate the other scholarship if selected for this scholarship

Scholarships for all applicants are selected based on the interview scores for the scholarship selection
- During the scholarship selection interview, applicants must present their research work or thesis/project that is part of their bachelor's, master's, or doctoral studies or research plan to the committee within 15 minutes. Interview scores will consider various criteria, including presentation, response to questions, and academic background
- The selection committee's decision for graduate scholarship recipients is final
- Scholarship Conditions
Recipients must submit progress reports on their academic performance and thesis work to the Faculty of Information Technology every semester, carry out assigned tasks, and show academic progress as follows
- Master's degree (Plan G1) and Bachelor's Weven Innovator project recipients
- RConduct research work at the Faculty of Information Technology at least 4 days per week
- Submit a Literature Review report within the 1st semester of the normal study plan
- Perform teaching assistant duties (1st time) for one course offered by the Faculty of Information Technology in the 2nd semester of the normal study plan or other assigned tasks
- Submit draft thesis topic and defend the thesis proposal within the 3rd semester of the normal study plan
- Receive acceptance for publication of at least one research article indexed in international databases SCOPUS or Web of Science (WOS) in academic journals or conferences approved by the Faculty's Academic Affairs committee within the 3rd semester of the normal study plan
- Perform teaching assistant duties (2nd time) for one course offered by the Faculty of Information Technology within the 4th semester of the normal study plan or other assigned tasks
- Have research or innovation related to AI in Education of at least one project
- Doctoral degree recipients
- Conduct research work at the Faculty of Information Technology at least 4 days per week
- Submit a Literature Review report within the 1st semester of the normal study plan
- Perform teaching assistant duties (1st time) for one course offered by the Faculty of Information Technology within the 2nd semester of the normal study plan or other assigned tasks
