

On Friday, February 6, 2026, Assistant Professor Dr. Patthanapong Chantamitopas, Head of the Information Technology Department, along with Assistant Professor Dr. Pornsuree Jamsri (lecturer at the School of Information Technology, KMITL) led third-year undergraduate students of the International Business IT program, School of Information Technology, KMITL, to an off-site study visit at AIS Academy on the 11th floor of Pearl Building, Phahonyothin Road, at Advanced Info Service (AIS) under a student skills development project to prepare for professional careers. This project is designed to provide students with opportunities to learn from real experiences outside the classroom.
The purpose of this study visit was to promote students' development of knowledge and understanding of business information technology, along with enhancing systemic analytical thinking skills and integrating knowledge for practical applications in the context of leading organizations.
The study visit featured lectures by Dr. Gwynponq Chatranon (Head of Data Revolution Section) and Mr. Ekanan Saengwatanaroj (Data Solution and Operations Manager), who provided knowledge on the topic “Data & Analytics Perspectives,” including knowledge transfer, data technology trends, and approaches to using Data Analytics to drive business and strategic decision-making within organizations.
This activity is an essential part of preparing students to understand the real work context, building necessary 21st-century skills, and inspiring self-development to become potential information technology professionals in the future.
