🏆 2nd Prize “The 27th National Software Contest: NSC 2025”

Congratulations to the undergraduate students from the School of Information Technology, King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, for winning 2nd prize at the Thailand Software Development Contest or “The 27th National Software Contest: NSC 2025” for students, organized by the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) in collaboration with the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT) on August 25, 2025.

The NSC competition has been held annually and this was the 27th edition. Its objective is to support and promote software development among students at various levels, focusing on boosting creative thinking skills, which is a fundamental foundation for the future growth of Thailand's software industry. It also serves as a platform for building and developing talented programmers who can apply and extend their skills in practice.

Besides being a platform for showcasing computer talents, NSC 2025 acts as a catalyst for diverse software prototypes that can be commercially viable and socially beneficial. Its main goal is to create a national software competition stage for youth, allowing developers to step toward professional levels, and to support legal and quality software development for sustainable advancement of the country's software industry.

In this competition, the team from the School of Information Technology, King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, won 2nd prize in the category of software promoting learning skills at the student level, for the project titled"Fingspell: An English Learning Game Using Basic Sign Language Spelling"which was created byMs. Chalisa Santithanyachok and Ms. Kamonnit Thammachat(4th-year undergraduate students in Information Technology, School of Information Technology, KMITL), advised byAssistant Professor Dr. Siri-on Wittayakorn
