School of Information Technology Ladkrabang Strengthens Artificial Intelligence Collaboration with Artificial Intelligence Association of Thailand
On January 30, 2026, the School of Information Technology, King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, held a signing ceremony for academic cooperation in artificial intelligence with the Artificial Intelligence Association of Thailand (AIAT) at meeting room 614, 6th floor of the Faculty
This cooperation aligns with the strategies and operational goals of King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang in graduate development, promoting academic excellence and research, as well as academic services to society, leading to the sustainable enhancement of the nation's artificial intelligence capabilities
The signing ceremony featured the Artificial Intelligence Association of Thailand side led by Dr. Thepchai Supnithi, President of AIAT, as the signatory, with Ms. Sirikorn Pratum, Director of AIAT, as a witness. On the School of Information Technology, KMITL side, Associate Professor Dr. Worapot Kreesuradet, Dean, signed the agreement, with Assistant Professor Dr. Tatsanai Ploysuwan as a witness and main coordinator
Previously, faculty members from the School of Information Technology, KMITL, have continuously participated in activities with the association, such as serving as committee members and advisors in the SUPER AI ENGINEER project, joining as association members, co-organizing and joining academic conferences, sending students to compete in artificial intelligence competitions, and inviting experts from the association to share knowledge with staff and students
For future cooperation, both organizations plan to establish a Coordination Center to design programs and innovation incubation courses related to artificial intelligence. The center aims to develop training curricula and activities for participants in the AI Innovator project to align with innovation challenges and the practical application of AI technology
